Level with the pavement, 90 cm wide and opening outward. After dark it is the lit one under the awning.

Walk in and order at the counter at any hour we are open. Coffee and bakes leave in a paper bag.

Why the rule changes with the hour
Thirty-four seats and two rushes a day. Between 11:30 and 14:30, and again from 17:30, a table with a laptop on it is a table nobody can eat at. Outside those hours the wifi is free, the plugs are along the banquette, and nobody will hurry you.

The door stays lit till ten
Three nights a week the card shortens, the globes come on and the tables are laid for souper. Come in by the same door; it is the only lit one on the block.
