A booked table is held for 15 minutes.
Booking a table
Supper and brunch take a booking; the rest of the day is walk-in.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Goûter are walk-in only
Nothing free that day for that many. Try another day.
Step 2 of 2 — request sent
The table is asked for, not yet held.
Somebody reads the book and answers by email before the service you asked for — usually well before. Until then the table is a request, not a reservation.

Larger parties, and vouchers
One note for a larger party or a voucher, answered by email.
Larger groups
7 or more eat from a shorter card, which comes back with the answer. Tables of 6 and under are booked in the ordinary way.

How it goes
Four choices, then a docket
- The service Brunch at the weekend or souper from Thursday to Saturday.
- The day The next seven days that service runs, in a strip.
- The party Up to six at a table. Seven or more, write to us.
- The time Hours the room is full are struck through, not hidden.
What comes back is a docket: a reference, the service, the day, the time and how many, and how long the table is held. No card is taken.
